What Rockstar has actually said

Nothing. The June 18 pre-order announcement — the company's biggest news beat of the year, with pre-orders opening June 25 — contained no new trailer and no mention of one. That silence is itself the most reliable data point: Rockstar gives little or no warning. Trailer 1 got four days' notice (announced December 1, 2023 for December 5 — then released a day early after a leak). Trailer 2 got none at all: it dropped in May 2025 four days after a delay announcement, with zero teaser campaign.

• Any random Tuesday — the honest answer. Trailer 1 had four days' notice; Trailer 2 had none. Waiting for an announcement of the announcement may itself be optimistic.

What is not speculation: pre-orders are live since June 25, the game ships November 19, 2026, and a marketing wave between those two points is how every Rockstar launch has ever worked. The question is when, not if.
